Millions of songs have been made and are constantly made, in the Hindi Film soundtrack industry.
Sadly, the fate of the songs(in terms of popularity)is too dependent on the success of the film, that is why many gems pass unnoticed every year.
2007 was no different, neither has been 2008.
But good art has a knack of standing up on its own.
Shantanu Moitra's music for Laaga Chunari Mein Daag and Khoya Khoya Chand, were least said, exceptional, clever and melodious.
Both wonderful soundtracks to be heard again and again.
