" TO BE NOTED "

It was not like the third year commerce exams were not drab enough.
Everything about the exams suggested boredom and despair.
Even death.
As one of the points on the back of the examination pass declared:

When the candidate dies prior to the examination, the entire examination fees shall be refunded.

Comforting thought, only that the examination fees was not worth a couple of dollars, even if you took inflation into account.

Movie watch: Horton hears a Who!

"A person is a person, no matter how small."

Inventive, cute and cuddly in its animation, witty and funny in dialogue, handled by directors (two of them) with a wonderful knack of infusing humour to every scene, Horton...is a 90-minute fun watch.
Go for it, watch it at the theaters.

Movie briefs: Khuda Ke Liye

Khuda Ke Liye, despite its flaws and compromises, is still a gripping tale of religious fanatism, music, terrorism, fear and hope.
Supported by a innovative soundtrack, decent acting- most noticeable been Shan- he is top grade as a Pakistani wrongly implicated with terror links.
Watch it before it leaves theaters.

Flight: a photograph by Wandercloud

My camera is a humble piece, it would give you nice close up's but not the view of the moon's crater's, it is not so advanced. That is why this freeze frame taken by Wandercloud of an Eagle(?) or Kite (???) is a great shot...

Portraits: Featuring Wandercloud

The best portrait photos 'happen' when the subject is unaware, and if aware, so occupied, that invariably, they do not mask their feelings for the camera. These photos were taken on Chaturshringi Hill, where the wind does blow hard, like invisible sea waves on some evenings..
